Thank you for letting me borrow Flat Maya and take her for a day to my work. It was cold, rainy, and windy most of the day, but I think she enjoyed it despite that. It started on our regular walk to school, when we passed some familiar faces and places. It is always hard to say good-bye to you, but we know you are in good hands at Campbell.

We then took the train to New Brunswick and had the second part of our walk through the campus to the Graduate School of Education, where I work. It was a typical day with meetings and classes, but there were also a few tasty treats as well. Flat Maya and I tried to hide in the back of one of the classes, but the teacher called us to the front. She and a few others shared their own stories of Flat Stanley’s from their children.

We then took the train home again and went to pick you up. It was Friday, so we got to go to the Italian store on Main St to get pizza for dinner. It was a nice end to the day.

Love,

Dad
